High Voltage

CEBAT is a leader in High Voltage Underground cable [UGC] installation, active since the 60ies:

  • Very diverse set of references including high density urban environment, in-mountain tunnel for hydro, overhead ring-roads, land connection for offshore cables, HVAC/HVDC, Fluid Oil to XLPE cables.
  • Reference include landmark projects such as the Italian sector of the Italy-France link (1200MW, 320 kV HVDC) through the Alps, currently being completed, and the Montenegro to Italy link (1000MW, 380kV HVDC)
  • Recently awarded the replacement and repowering of Overhead Lines in Cortina (Dolomites) area, ahead of the 2021 Winter Olympics. New underground installation to reach a peak of 1800 m with a difference in altitude of more than 1100m.
  • CEBAT recently entered the High Voltage overhead line sector (ACEA).
